The 800m 2 ways four lane highway bridge to Abu Dhabi island located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects in London. Featuring the striking shape of the structure symbolises desert dunes.

The Emirate of Dubai is doing some really cool things, technologically and city-planning wise. The construction begins in March, with a slated completion date of 2012. This bridge, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Crossing, will become home to the largest and tallest arch bridge ever.
